Terms and conditions for idotaxi services

Acceptance of terms by paying the deposit or submitting the quote form, the client acknowledges that they have read and agree to abide by these terms and conditions set out below throughout the duration of the service.

Hire Quotations

All quotations are given subject to the company having available a suitable vehicle at the time the Hire accepts the quotation.  Quotations are valid for 28 days unless otherwise stated.  No VAT is chargeable.  A deposit for the hire of the taxi will vary, dependent on the total cost of the booking.  This is payable within 10 days of the date of the booking.  The final balance is then due 28 days before the date of hire, unless the company has otherwise agreed in writing to vary this condition.  If payment is not received in accordance with the agreed terms, the company reserves the right to cancel the contract and levy the appropriate charge in accordance with the confirmation of booking. - On receipt of the deposit (or full payment if within 28 days of hire), the company will issue an email of confirmation, which will include the agreed details of the hire and initiate the contract with the Hirer.  The Hirer should check this on receipt, and immediately notify the company of any error or required variation.  No booking should be regarded as confirmed prior to receipt of this email.

Cancellation by Hirer

If cancelation is made prior to the 28 days before the date of hire, 100% of monies paid will be returned, less the deposit.

If cancelation is made after the 28 days prior to the date of hire, 50% of monies paid, less the deposit will be returned to the hirer.

If cancelation is made after the 48 hours prior to departure, 0% of monies paid or deposit will be returned to the Hirer.

Cancellation by the Company

Unforeseen circumstances which prevent the operation of the hire, the company may return all monies paid and without further liability, cancel the contract.  However, the company will make all reasonable efforts to fulfil the hire using alternative vehicle(s) or operative(s), in consultation with the hirer where possible.

Only Guide or Assistance dogs will be carried on any of our vehicles.

Vehicle Unavailability

While every effort is made to ensure timely arrival, the company cannot be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control (e.g. traffic, road closures, weather or mechanical breakdown of vehicles) which may affect service schedules.

Refunds, claims and compensation

In the event of failure to provide the booked service (e.g. vehicle or vehicles), Liability shall be limited to a full refund of monies paid.

The company shall not be liable for consequential losses, distress, loss of enjoyment or any event related losses.

The company's total liability for any claim arising out of this agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the booking.

Complaints and Disputes

Any complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the event. the company will seek to resolve all disputes amicably.

Property

The Company will not accept any liability for any damage to or loss of passengers' property which is left on a vehicle.  Any articles of property recovered from a vehicle will be held at the depot where the vehicle is based. Any articles claimed may be collected by arrangement with the company.

Breakdown/Delay

The company gives advice on journey times in good faith and will endeavour to operate to the agreed schedule.  However, it does not guarantee the completion of any journey at a specific time and will not be liable for inconvenience or loss caused by breakdown or delay.

Smoking

No smoking is permitted in any vehicle.

GDPR & Our use of your information

Your data will be used by Rank Events to send marketing emails/text/calls regarding Rank Events services and/or offers. Your data will never be shared with any third party. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of any marketing email.

Jurisdiction

All hires are undertaken and these Terms and Conditions should be interpreted subject to English law. Any waiver by the company of any right under these Terms and Conditions shall not prejudice exercise of that, or any other right.

General

All references in these Terms and Conditions to the masculine should be taken to include the feminine where appropriate.  Website: WWW.idotaxi.co.uk

Classic Bus

all above T&C's apply to the classic bus.

iDoTaxi act as a broker on behalf of the owners of the buses, Fee's will be applied.

there may also be fee's applied when you make amendments to your bookings
